As a result of extensive tests and dyno runs, the total-open valve time (256° at 1 mm lift) and valve lift remain unaffected, but by optimizing the intake and exhaust camshaft’s ramp-profile, even more power could be generated over the entire speed range. These modifications allow better adjustment possibilities of the valve timing and as a positive side effect, by reducing the valve acceleration, a lower engine damage risk.
Please note:
– For fitting these cams it is required to use special valve springs (article code 1134A100E01).
– According to a 0,2 mm reduced base circle radius it is requested to take 0,2 mm thicker shims.
